The IW&FS Toronto Branch had a simply exquisite Italian evening at the Sopra Upper Lounge with the amazing Massimo Capra, one of Toronto’s great chefs. Not only a great cook but a raconteur of the joys of eating in Italy and in particular Tuscany. I think Tuscany is one of the really great place in the world for food and wine. There is a reason the “Noble Tuscans” fall in a category unto its self as a designation for wine quality. They are very good!
The wines were selected by the adroit hand of our Cellar Master Marcel Bregstein. In addition, an amazing Vino Santo desert wine. As Canadians we don’t often have a desert wine and if we do, it is awesome!.
